As beguiling and ethereal as smoke, Katherine Cooper’s photographs capture the bravery and beauty of Felicia Fredon’s poem in an intimate work of art both deliciously erotic and sweet. This original edition of Felicia Fredon’s poem comes with two color photos by Katherine Cooper laminated inside of a small booklet made from Japanese paper and secured in an envelope. Four black and silver unpublished photos signed and dated by the artist are placed in a black lined box featuring a black and white photo on the cover. Felicia Fredon is a pseudonym for the publisher, Patricia Dupuy. Katharine Cooper is a South African photographer residing in Arles, where she worked for world renowned photographer Lucien Clergue until his death in 2014. Her photographs are collected worldwide. Housed in a chrome-edged, black leather covered cigarette case customized by Bernard Soria. 10cm x 10cm.
